On Saturday last the Foxton footballers were again defeated ; this time by the Pirates (Palmerston). The fox ton team was the strongest that has be<n put in the field for seasons past, bnt several of the men had not had a game this season, and consequently there was n-it tho slightest show of combination among the backs, and only a poor attempt at such in the forwards.
