Mitson and Fowler have been committed for trial for the Muswell Lodge murder.
Mr Justice Williams has granted an order for the compulsory winding* up of the Chaffey Irrigation Com* pany. In the House of Commons, Sir Win. Harcourt, Leader of the Opposition, discussing the Transvaal question, demanded the removal of Mr Rhodes, and a re-forming of the Chartered Company's board of directors.
