The Dervishes before their defeat by Major Sydney entangled Fenwick's Bcouts in the bush, and speared many of them. Feu wick's Egyptian cavalry defended the hill all night, and repulsed four assaults. General Baldisaera, commander-in-chief of the Italian forces in Abyssinia, has returned King Menelek's peace proposals, and the negotiations have been abandoned.
