The Kerosene Stove.
+ Who does not know the usually evil smelling thing called a kerosene stove ? The kettles all black, the horrible smell when pufc oufc and all the rest of the ab__ninations of cofcton wicks and kerosene. All that is now altered. Cooking is next to a pleasure if, and there is so much in the if, the wick is made of the patent preparation invented by the Rev. George Aitkens and on sale at Mr Alf Fraser's store. We have had the composition for months on trial and can highly recommend it. There is no smoke, the bottom of the kettle remains as clean as the day it was bought. The flame goes out with a puff without smell or smoke. After once using the wonder is why these wicks were not prepared long before. The outlay is small, therefore gefc the powder and make the trial before the house ia quite spoilt wifch black smoke.
