The return for the Marob quarter has just been completed and it at under : — There were 11 sittings of the Court during the quarter over whiefi the Stipendiary Magistrate presided G times and the Justices of the Peace 5 times. The number of civil cases heard by the Magistrate was 82. The aggregate amount sued for was £244 193 8d and £172 5s 8d was recovered. There were 72 plaints entered : 14 distress warrants issued: 10 judgment summons issued : 8 orders made on judgment summons. There were 57 summons or other processes served by the bailiff within two miles of the Court, and 40 over two niibs. The bailiff also executed
