DEFINITION OF A HACK.— A hack means' a* horse that has never won-a« advertised race to the net valne of more than 40 sovs. hack and hunters' races excepted. 2. Nominationsand acceptances (in proper form prescribed) must be accompanied with the necessary amount pnyable. otherwise they will be rejected, lf nominations and acceptances are telegraphed, the fees must be forwarded by first mail thereafter.
