■ . A meeting of the above Council was held at the Library buildings thi3 morning at noon. Present — The Mayor (G. Nye), Crs Border, Oiborue and Westwood. The following tendera were opened : — Stewart Streefc : Andrew?, Doherty and H. Webb. Wirokino Road : Andrews and Chamberlain. Purcell Street Drain : Andrews and Webb. The following resolutions were carried : — Proposed hy Cr Westwood, seconded by Cr Bolder, That lhe lenders cf James Andrew for Stewart sttset ut 8s ptr chain, Wirokino road drain at 81 per chain and Purcell street at 61 per chain be accepted. Proposed by the Mayor, seconded . by Cr Border, That the next general meeting of this Council bo held on
