London.
Dr Jameson arrived in London on February 24th, but the ship was ordered not to approach the port before midnight. Intense secrecy was observed by tbe authorities, and Lloyd's was forbidden to signal the vessel. The Channel was patrolled by torpedo boats, in" order to intercept pressmen. The remainder of ihe troopers arrived by other vessels. They were paraded and dismissed. Their journey from Plymouth to London was a sort of triumphal progress. Earl Grey, and directors approved by the Government, have been appointed to administer the South African Chartered Company, in conjunction with Mr Cecil Rhodes. One of the Transvaal officers who have reached England declares that Sir J. D«3 Wet's message, ordering Dr Jameson to stop his march, arrived during the fight, and that Dr Jameson immediately hoiated the flag of truce.
