A Man Shot by a Woman.

On Tuesday afternoon Mrs Camille Looker, wife of Earl Locker, an indent merchant in Wellington, shot Mr George Norbury with a revolver, in the breast, standing within a foot ot him, in Messrs Harcourt & Cos' auction room. Norbury had a second mortgage over a warehouse belonging to Locker, and had decided to sell his interest by auction that day, owing to failure ef interest. It would appear that this unsettled Mrs Locker's mind. Norbury was taken to the hospital and his condition was considered serious enough to make it advisable to take his deposition, in the presence of Locker and his wife.
