DEFINITION OF A HACK.— A hack means a horse that has never won an advertised race to tho net value of more than 40 aovs. hack and hunters' races excepted. 2. Nominations and acceptances (in proper form prescribed) must be accompanied with the necessary amount payable, otherwise they will be rejected. If nominations and acceptances are telegraphed, the fees must be forwarded by first mail thereafter. This rule will be strictly enforced. 3 Nominations must state name, age, colour, pedigree, and past performances, where not known f .o the handicapper, and colours to be worn by the rider. 4. The winner of any advertised raco nfter the declaration of weights to the net value oi 80 soys. to carry a penalty of 51b in the Pandon Handicap and Tramway Handicap, and 71bs in the Flying Handicap. 5. All races to be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs in Now Zealand, ROBERT G. EDWARDS, Secretary. Passed in accordance with th< Rules of Racing. Freeman R.
