The Coming Concert.
At the concert soon to be given heie all the soloists are comparative strangers to most Foxton concertgoer3. Mrs Kendall, of Fitzhprbert, in her " Waiting " and '• Ora pronobis " should please her hearers. Miss' Murdoch is a young lady ranking amongst the b^st of pingers in the ; mpire Oily Mr W. Grace, of Palraerston North, with his rich bass, renders " The mighty deep." Then Fox ton's crack reciter gives two selections, and the genial editor of the Shannon Farmer is down for • two readings. There are also to be half a doztm choruses by Shannon I singers. Lastly the solos of Miss j Neilson, of Palraer3ton, self accompanied on her harp, are alwHya excellent. Such a concert, the outlines of which wo have pourtrayed, should attract a very good audience. The night fixed is moonlight, and the prices popular ones. We may, also note that the ticket and programme are tastefully printed on the same card.
