Mr Oowles and Miss Whyte, giving 80, beat Mr Euro and Mrs Cook, by 5. Mr : urtis and MissPurcell, giving 14, beat Mr Cook and Miss O'Brien by 12 Mr Gower and Miss Symons, giving 14, beat Mr Hamer and Miss L. Symons by 6. The drawing for the next round resulted as follows : — Mr Cowles and Miss Whyte, giving 20, play Mr Gower and Miss Symons. Mr Curtis and Miss Purcell, giving 24, play Mr Little and Miss Easton.
