The Races.

No one is likely to forget that Wednesday 19 Anniversary Day and Jfa day for the Summer Meeting of ft^ Foxton Racing Club. We shall expect a large meeting as the weather has suited the course splendidly, and therefore good racing can be looked for. The Marton Band has "been engaged to enliven 'he proceedings. For the first time on the Foxton course will the horses be

started by a machine. Mr Hill will work the totalisator. The train arrangements are as usual. There appears a chance of the weather being settled by Wednesday, which is desirable. We hope all will make a point of attending.
