We have only the Palmerston sale of Friday's to report upon. Sheep, in short supply, were in moderate demand. Young cattle still maintained their value. Dairy stock and heifers without inquiry. Onr quotations are — Cattle— 2-year steers, £3 10d to £8 12s ; younger, £3 6s ; 15 months Bteers, £2 13s ; do. mixed sexes, £2 4s 6d ; weaners and yearlings, mixed sexes, 80s to 403 ; well-bred Shorthorn cow, with calve at foot, £4 6s. Sheep — Store wethers in the wool made 12s ; do. 2 -tooths, mixed, 10s fid ; shorn fat maiden ewes, 7s 9d ; ewes and lambs, all counted, 53 Id.
