Coloured Photographs.

A Stereochromascope for showing coloured photographs in relief has been brought out by M. Nachet, 17 Rue Severin, Paris. Three positive photographs of the object are taken with the red, blue or yellow rays which emanate from them after the manner of Mr Lees, of Philadelphia. These are placed in certain positions in the apparatus and illuminated by light of the corresponding colour, red, blue, or yellow, and the luminous images thus obtained are blended into one. The effect of solidity is got by the ordinary stereo-* scopic device.
