Glengrrry's dam, Darling, by Charlie, has an unbeaten record, taking first prizes for 12 years, being second once only to her own sister. She also took Champion Prize for Best Mare, wet or dry, on the Show Ground. Glengarry took first prize when two year old, and also when five years old, competing againb aged horses.
