The Committee are very luekv men, and they deserved their gosi£ luck as they placed themselves "at .heir work, in the proper style, their shoulders well in the. collar. The morning of Tuesday broke as unpromising for outdoor fan as oould ne conceived, blowing and raining, which by the bye we are gettiog pretty well used to, hard. The racing was very good, he fields were good, and harmony narked all the proceedings. Mr Stansell made a good judge ; Mr P. Oudson got his fields off very •leverly ; and the committee all lent i hand where desired. Messrs C. A. Harmon, H. Bradcock, T. Proctor, P. Hennessy and A. Shadbolt did a Irtofwork.
