TOURNAMENT HANDICAP^. The Committee of the above* met on Thursday evening for the pur« pose of arranging the handicaps and drawing of opponents in the Ladies' and Gentlemen's Singles that is now about to be started. The vice*president of the Club, Mr W. S. Stewart, was also present. Ladies' Singles, of 30 points.— Mrs Stewart and Mis 3 Purcell, scratch ; Miss Whyte, 4 points ; Misses Williams and Burr, 10 ; Miss Syraons and Miss L. Symons, 12 ; Mrs Cook and Miss O'Brien, 15 ; Misses Easton and K. Whyte, 18 ; Miss Ingram, 20. Gentlemen's Singles, of 50 points. — 0. Robinson, scratch; Rev. G. Aitkens, 9 points ; P. Curtis, E. P. Cowles and W. T. Little, 15; B. Gower and F. Armstrong, 20 ; W. Cook, 23 ; P. Eore, 27. The drawing of opponents for the first round resulted as follows :— Miss Whyte 4 points, plays Misa O'Brien 15 ; Miss Purcell scratch, plays Miss L. Symons, 12 ; Mrs Cook 15 points, plays Miss Easton 18 ; Mrs Stewart scratch, plays Miss Burr 10 ; Miss Williams 10 points, p!ays Miss Symons 12 ; Miss K. Whyte 18 points, plays Miss Ingram 20 points.
