Mr George Augustus Sula has been lying at Brighton for months grievously sick, and is a bankrupt. A oouple of years ago Mr Snln, to all appearances, was happy and prosperous, with a young and devoted wife, plenty of work and an nndiminished enpaoity to do it. Today he is a physical wreck. It is understood that his financial troubles ore due to unfortunate investments, and mainly to the failure of the weekly newspaper in which most of the savings of his lifetime were swallowed up. On Sir Edward Lawson, the millionaire proprietor of the London Daily Telegraph, and Mr Sala'a friend and life long cm ployer, learning tho position, he placed Mr Sala on a pension of £1000 a year.
