As showing THE ADVATAOE OP THIS ROUTE, 6Ven during the week of the lute heavy flood, the mails and 27 passengers were conveyed by boat and vehicles. The route by boat was both safe and anenjoyable change, to the passengers in fact like a picnic, and all who travelled expressed themselves well pleased with the. arrangements made. Five Foxton residents were driven in the Coach from J_,evin on Tuesday morning, 16th April, after having previously endeavoured to get over from Shannon. On Monday, the 15th April, the umal C ach was run through the flood to Levin tis well as a vehicle in the afternoon to Kerm1 s With the Manager of tho New Zealand Est'ltes Compnr.y and the Secretary of the Wellington Freezing Company as pa?sengprs, who failed to succeed in crossing at the Shannon Ferry in i the morning. Tho Coach leaves Whyte's Hotel, Foxton, every week day at 5.30 a.mi, for Levin, catching iho train to Wellington lit 8.0 a.m. Tho Coach leaves Levin Hotel at IJ. 15 am. on the arrival of tlm train from .
