FURTHER RISING EXPECTED. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.'s last report, dated September 27th, for hemp is as follows : — -'• Since 21st inst., a considerable improvement has taken place in the London market, sales having been effected at from £15 to £16 10s per ton for g.f.a.q. We look for still higher values before end of current year." _____^__^___
