A RICH FIELD ON THE WEST COAST.
The West Coast Times states that very rich gold has been found in the University reserve, of five acres, within the area of Craig's freehold. The sm face only is leased to Craig. The paper says that a portion of the ground, already worked by Crajjg'a ; tributors, is returning £20 a man per week. It is believed the Lands Department is taking steps to resume the lantj to allow of occupation by miners, and in the meantime will give notice to Craig of the terminaof his lease.
