Messrs Abraham and Williams report : — Cattlo mustered at Paimerston iv full numbers. All classes were in good demand, the bulk selling freely under the hammer. Beef, more numerous, sold readily at somewhat advanced rates. Store sheep, in moderate supply, were without alteration in value t those deficient in quality without inquiry. Fat ewes in limited numbers maintained the increased rates ruling last week. Fat bullocks, L 5 19s, LO i4s, L 7 Bs, L 7 14s ; 3-yeftr steer», L44s ; 2to 2h year do., L 2 Its Cd to L 3 10s ; yearling do., L 2 17s Gd to L 3 10s ; yearling do., 33s to 455 ; 18---month heifers, L 2 10s ; milch cows, L 3 los to L6. Sheep— Prime fat ewea, 12s ; others, 10s lOd ; light wethers, Us 8d ; empty ewes, 8s 2d ; hoggets, Bs.
