These apper to be going strongly in favour ot the Government, which ii satisfactory, as they are advocates for Free ..Trade. A reflection upon the Labour Representatives in this colony is cast by the Labour Representatives in New South Wales standing on the Free Trade ticket. The* Premier, the Hon. G. Reid, defeated Sir Henry Parkes for the King Division of Sydney by 140 votes, a majority not expected. Sir George Dibbs has also been defeated by a Mr Piddington at Tarnworth.
