, •. * Hugh Stewart, the victim of the •hooting outrage at Balfour, died at Riversclale on Monday night. JobnKeown, who was before the Court and was remanded, will now be char^'with wilful murder. It is stated that Middlemiss, the Magistrate's Court bailiff, seized two of Kebwn's horses on Friday night, but being fired at by him, abandoned them, and got Stewart with him on th© fatal evrand on Saturday.
