Boot, will be a guarantee to all musical critics of its excellency. Simple in design, elaborate in construction, it ia exceedingly sweet in effect when at all worthily rendered; Ber. Mr Barnett having heard it proauced on several different occa* sibns in England, states that as a combination of vocal effort it affords highest satisfaction. Ifc contains ■bine forty fix numbers, made np of eighty.tbree parts. The body.of the ohorus will ba formed by the Methodipt, choir, and the various parts have been allotted among the leading sinters of our town, The. rendering may be looked for some t weeks hence, and given good luck it- will be. as it already gives promise, of beings welL worth a hearing .by all, who; can appreciate a musical' treat.' , ' Lovers of music will watch with interest these columns for further notioe of "Under the Palms."
