Pekin telegrams state that the agreement respecting the RassoOhinese loan bas been signed. It ia reported that China bas consented to the Siberian railway terminating at Wiku, at the mouth of the Yalu River.

France is sending an expedition to Ohina, with a view of promoting trade. The party will ascend the Yang tse-Eiang, making Chun-Kiang the centre. Special efforts are to be made to promote trade in Yunnan.

The Chinese loan treaty has been signed, and runs for 86 years. The amount is sixteen millions, and the next issue will not take place until January.

The arrangement that the first charge will be in Customs duties remains unaltered.
