» ■ — From information received, the Wanganui police made a sensational discovery of a still on Mr Donald, Dickie's at Momohalu, early on Sunday morning. A more secluded spot could not have been found, the still being, only a few chains from the house, and situated in a ladder had to be used in effecting an entrance, The police took possession of about £50 worth of whisky, which was caned into Waverley, also all the plant in connection with the still.
