The following Bills were read a first time : — Divorce Act Amend - ment ; Puniu Reserves Sale ; Dunedin* Drainage and Sewerage ; Property Law Consolidation Act 1883 Amendment ; Franchise at Munioipal Elections in Boroughs, and Literary Copyright in New Zealand ; Unclaimed Moneys. At twenty minutes to 4 o'clock the Address in* Reply debate was re« sumed by Sir Robert Stout, who was followed by the Premier. Messrs G. Hutchison, G. Russell, J. Duthie, E. M. Smith, Crowther, Major Steward and McLachlan also spo'ce. The debate was adjourned on the motion of Mr Buchanan. I =
