Rumour? that the Bank of New Zealand Assets Company intend seeking powers from Parliament to dispose of their properties under a gigantic lottery scheme, are afloat, and appear gaining in credence. We bowever, very much doubt the truth of the rumours. The Hon. John McKenzie haß again been laid up by sickness since he arrived in Wellington.
