The Times says that, owing to anxiety over the Armenian question, the Sultan has fallen ill, and symptoms of paralysis have appeared. The Spanish Senate has authorised the expenditure of £500,000 to settle the Cuba difficulty. Mr Gladstone was reoeived on his arrival in Hamburg by large crowds, who assembled in the street?, and cheered him heartily. Mr Gladstone met with a great ovation on his arrival at Kiel, and his friends are arranging an interview between hira and Prince Bismarck. The Frenoh Patriotic League is promoting many meetings throughout the country to protest against tbe Frenoh Fleet visiting Kiel at thd opening of the Baltio Canal.
