A.fc the Epsom meeting the following was the resilt of The Derby Stakes, of 0000 soys. About one mile ami a half. Lord Rosebery's b c Sir Visto, by Bavcaldine — Vista, 9ih 1 Mr T. Cannon's br c Ourzon, by Ocean Wave— Tib, 9st . . 2 Mr William Cooper's b c Kirkconnel, by Royal Hampton — Sweet Sauce, 9st . . 3 Fifteen started, and Sir Visto won by three-quarters of a length. Time, 2inin 43sec. The betting at the start was : — 9 to 1 agst Sir Visto, 100 to 8 Kirkconneil, 83 to 1 Curzon, 100 to 15 Laveno. BecUhampton, which ran fourth, led the field into the straight, when Sir Visto made his effort, and won by three-quarters of a length. It was an unexpected victory, and the crowd wildly cheered Lord Rosebery as he led the winner back to the saddling enclosure.
