W® beg to acknowledge the receipt of the forty-sixth annual report of the A.M.P.. Society.
' r DuriDg the year 1894 the funds have increased from £11,954,586 to £12,485,240; there, are 121,478 policies in force, assuring £89,510,---180; of which 20,862 are l.t'd ml New. Zealand for £6,134,870, equa to a shade under one-aixth of tha whole ; that the annual income is £2,029,095, and that the expensed have decreased, being now. at the rate of a shade over 8 per cent, on the. annual income. The amount of cash bonus to be provided . for the year 1894, being one year's bonus, is £428,020, providing reversionary bonuses amounting to £850,000 for the year. The cash bonuses for the year show a dividend of £84 6s per WBt. on the premiums received dur« ftfothe year, ■TOe reserve set apart for possible dejwoiation of securities now stands |nU14,849. !j)ne Report renounce that since tbf close of the year a Supplementary; Prpspectuff containing Tables of IlftftJ a number of new benefits fcftl been issued ; these Tables have been approved by Mr George King, F.1.A., of London, and their introduction will it is believed largely extend the sphere of the Society's usefullness.
