Foxton Borough Council.
A special meeting of the above Council was held at the Library Buildings la?t night. Present— The Mayor (T P. Williama), Cis Jenks, Hamer, West wood and McMillan. The following tenders were opened. fFor ranging : A Sbadbolt, £8 14s a year \ J. MeGill* £10 10s ; P. Guerin,£l2; W. Nye,J6l2. P^Bymons' Outlet Drain :~T. L. Martin, Is per chain ; F. Morgan, Is; J. McGill, laid. Proposed by the Mayor, seconded by Cr McMillan— That A. Sbadbolt's tender be accepted for ranger at ±8 148 per annum, bul-jVct to conditions of specification?. < arried. Proposed by the Mayor, seconded by Cr Jenks— That F. L. Martin's tender be accepted for clearing out Simons' diain ai Is per chain. The meeting was then adjourned for a fortnight.
