Otaki Licensing Committee.

(from oub own corbespondent.) liesars Gascoigne, Thynne, Har* nett, Williams, Stuokey, and the Magistrate arrived at Otaki station this morning. Messrs Bell and Skexrett, solicitors, met the Magistrate and arranged adjournment to the 14th inst. The Magistrate and Mr Clascoigne then left by the same train, the others remaining, but owing to the Otaki members not appearing the meeting was adjourned by the Clerk till to-morrow and the members present undertook not to appear until the 14th. Numbers of witnesses, besides the Members of Committee, have been put to serious inconvenience.
