His sire, Malua, won the Melbom*ne Australian and Adelaide Cups, Newmarket Handicap, and many weight for age races, as well as the Grand National Hurdle Eaco. Malua's first son, Malvilio, won the Melbourne Cup. Haeres datn, Norna, by Conrad (imp ), out of Thalia (imp. V 13 dam of Darriwell, another Melbourne Cop winner. In the Victorian show ring Haere took first prize at Ba.lan and Myrniong for 3 yeass beating Malua, Mentor, Cilma, Enfilade Hnd oilier good horses.
