The most complete coining plant ever discovered in Sydney, has been unearthed at Waterloo, two and a half miles from Sydney. For some time past a large quantity of spurious coins, representing all values from a shilling to a sovereign, have been in circulation, and the counterfeit was of so excellent workmanship as almost to deceive an expert. A man named Birch was, after a desperate struggle, arrested on a charge of being concerned in tbe affair.— Press Association,
