His sire, Malua, wou the Melbourne Australian and Adelaide Cups, Newmarket Handicap, and many weight for age races, as well as the Grand National Curdle Race. Malua's first son, Malvolio, won the Melbourne Cup. Har-res dam, Norna, by Conrad (imp ), out of Thalia (imp. 1 !. 13 dam of Darriwell, another Melbourne Cnp winner. In the Victorian show ring Haere took first prize at Ba'lnn and Myrniong for 3 yoass heatingMalua, Mentor, Gilma, Enfilade Hud other good horses.
