NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. ASHUPST RACES, 28th DEC. ON FRIDAY, 28th December, the fl.fi p.m. train fiom Palmeraton to Foxton will bo delayed till 7 p.m., to connect with special train from Ashurst. CXCURBION TICKETS to Welj \ j liugton will be issued from Foxton (Ist class, 22s ; 2nd olags, 16s), subject to the conditions stated on posters at stations, from 18th De« cember to 2nd January inclusive, available for return till 12th January. Ordinary return tickets for distances under 21 miles issued from 18 Deoember to 2nd January, inolusive, will be available for return till 12th January. On Tuesday. 25th December, the ordinary time-table will be observed. On Wednesday, 26th December, the usual 9.0 a.m train from Foxton will leave at 7 45 am., Carnarvdii, 8.8 a.m., Longburn, 9.0 a m., Palmerston, 925 a.m., arriving at Feilding at i 0.5 a.m., returning leaving Feilding at 620 p.m., Palnierston, 7.10 p.m , arriving nt Foxton at 8.40 p.m., stopping at any intermediate stations it required either way. The usual 5.5 p.m. train from Palmerston to Foxton will not run. Excursion tickets available for return on day of issue only will be issued to Palmerston on 26th and 27th December from Foxton, Baiuessi>, and intermediate stations, first-class, 4s, second 2a 6d, and to Feilding on 26th only from Foxton, Tiakitahuna and intermediate stations, first-class 03 Gd, second 8s 6d.
