Pupil Teachers' Instruction.
Mr Sanson moved at the last . meeting of the Education Board, in accordance with notice given at last meeting, "That duly qualified, BMt'T sons willing to give instruction : to I pupil teachers and otheiv ypunjj " teachers in the service of the Board to enable them to obtain their * certificates under the provisions lof^ the ' Education Act, 1877,' be ap-" pointed to attend at one of the Board schools in Hawera.s&tlgiei'^aj ston North, and Wangahui. person will be allowed to. take more than two subjects. Specifioa« tions of subjects -ip ba. tajnght and hours of work; to bs prepare&A»yTt|fe Board.*' In moving the" resoralfbn, Mr Sanson explained the necessity that existed for the provision of such instruction for their young pupil teachers. He thought that if they had some such provisions as, existed * in the Wellington district for' 1 a central Board for such instruction it would be better.for the Board. After the matter had been briefly/digfcudsid/!, it was resolved on the. motion: of, Mfi Sanson, that a oommittee consisting*^ of Messrs Carson, Bridge MaßfrAyn the mover, be appointed t&go\intg<j the matter and report as aootf as possible.
