His sire, Malua, won the Melbourne Australian and Adelaide Cups, Newmarket Handicap, and many weight for ago races, as well as the Grand National Hurdle Race. Malua's first son, Mnlvolio, won the Melbourne Cup. Hacre's dam, ' Norn a, by Conrad (imp.), ont of Thalia (imp.l. i 3 dam of Darriwell, another Melbourne Cnp winner. In the Victorian show ring.
