NOTICE. n^HE petition as follows will be ]_ presented to His Excellency, the Governor. The same may be seen for one month from date at the Borough Council's < fficcs, Foxton. Foxton, Ist Dec , 1894. TO HIS EXCELLENCY, THE GOVERNOR OF NEW ZEALAND. MAY IT PLEASE YOUR EXCELLENCY. The Prayer of your Petitioners humbly sheweth 1. That we are ratepayers in the Distiict asked to be proclaimed. 2. That we are desirous of forming the Distiict within the boundaries as given below into a River Board District to be called the Mukaka River Board District, and that the same be divided into two sub« divisions to be called the Motoa and Wirokino sub-divisions respectively, the boundaries as follows : — MOTOA SUB-DIVISION, starting from Manawatu river where the road bounding the South-east side of section 35 intersects the same, thence along the western side of that road to section 35, thence along the North-east boundary of same and sections 36, 39 to road, thence along east side of road to Foxton-Shannon road, across the same, thence along the Southern side of same to section 33, thence along eastern side of section 33 aud south sides of sections 33, 32, 31, thence along east boundary section 30 to south-east corner of same, and along south bounday of sections 30, 29, 28, 27, 435, 436, thence along east boundary of section 254 to road across same, thence along the southern side of same to section 257, thence along east boundary of 257, and along south boundaries of same and section 258 to road, thence along road to corner, thence along southern side of road in an westerly direction to section 433, thence along east boundary section 433 to road, across the road and along east boundary of section 584 to river Manawatu, thence up the north bank of the said river to starting point, such area being in the Mount Robinson Survey District, County of Manawatu, see map and schedule attached. WIROKINO SUB-DlVlSlON, starting from the Manawatu river where intersected by east boundary section 534, thence along the same to road, across the road and along the east boundary of section 433 to road, thence along same on couth side to river Manawatu thence up the bank of the same to starting point. Such area being in the Mount Robinson Survey District, Borough of Foxton. See map aud schedule attached. 8. That the Board consist of five members, being three for the Motoa sub-division, and two for the. Wirokino sub-division.
