Foxton O.C; which is to come off on Saturday in i Mr Easton's paddock, kindly granted for the occasion. Play commences at 11 o'clock precisely, and the local players are particularly requested r to put in a punctual appearance on the ground, as the visiting team are bound to leave by the 6 o'clock tram for Sandon. A gooja , gani6 is anticipated. At one o'clock the visitors will bo entertained at lunch in the Manawatu Hotel. The following players have been selected to represent the local club : — Messrs Arbon, Betty, Calderwood, Dudsoiio Forster, Harrison, Hinchliffe,.(capt.J, Howard, Ingram, Martin, and Ny,e. Emergencies : — Messrs Enuis, Lyall, : Robinson and Soanlan.
