Liseriby. From Fi. G. Cox, agreeing to undertake the valuation of the Manawatu County for the ensuing triennial period for the sum of £60. From W. Dudson, Foxton, draw ing attention to the bad state of the road to his place, and the necessity for a man to be nut on to put the road in order. From Secretary Hospital Board, notifying the annual election of member?. From Clerk, Wirokino Road Board, saying that in viow of the metalling loans now being raised, ; and apprehending that the bulk of j the metal will be carted over the | Shannon Ferry road, that the j Council should contribute towards j keeping the road in good order i during svteh carting, and to leave it j in a good state of repair ?.t the close • of contracts. j From C. The Council went into committee to open the tenders. Proposed by Cr Masters, seconded by Cr Robinson, That the tender of F. L. Berhent for trimming and metalling on Bulla^Feilding road at £1 58 6d and also the tender of J. Thompson for forming Phillip-3treet, Sanson, at 9s 6d be accepted. — Carried. Proposed by Cr Taylor, seconded by Cr Hammond, Tbafc Boyle and Austin's tender for metalling on Campion's Line be accepted — Carried. Proponed by Cr Strang, seconded by Or Hammond, That P. Cronin's tender of £4 8a per chain for metalling the Shannon- Foxton road be accepted. — Carried. Proposed by Cr Robinson, seconded by Cr Hammond, That tenders be called for forming and clearing about 50 chains at the end of Taikorea road, to bo in by next meeting. — Carried. Proposed by Cr Robinson, seconded by Cr Taylor, That a deputation of the Council visit the Oroua Bridge on Saturday, December Bth, to meet near Mr Cooper's road at 10 o'clock. Proposed by Cr Wilson, seconded by Cr Masters, That teuders be called for 40 chains of metalling on Swunson's Line ; also tenders for completing the metalling on the Sandon- Feilding road to the finger post. Tenders to be opened at the special meeting on the 28ih inst. Carried. Proposed by Cr Masters, second* d by Cr Taylor, That tenders be called tor forming the unformed parts of Taylor's Line. Tenders to be in by next meeting. — Carried. Proposed by Cr Ransom, eacouded by Cr Strang, That tenders be called for metalling streets in Campbell town. Tenders to be in by noon of Nov. 28th.— Carried.— Proposed by Cr Masters, seconded , by Cr Wilson, That tender* be called ' for forming about 90 chains on
