On Tuesday afternoon the follow* ing heats were rowed for the medals and Jerseys. First heat Bradbury beat Nairn by three lengths— Nairn had conceeded fifteen seconds. Second heat Howan gave E. Ingram 45 seconds and Ingram came in by about six lengths ahead. Howan "* got caught at the start on a sandbank and lost fully 15 seconds before he got fairly away. He however considerably reduced the large gap by the finigh. The final heat takes place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock between E. Ingram and Bradbury. The former gives Bradbury 15 secondi, and this race should be a very close one, especially if it can takj place at the time named, it being then high water. Nominations for pair-oared outrigger race close on Monday next.
