Bulls, October 8. Within the last week we have held our uauai stook sales at Feilding, Sanson and Waituna. At Feilding the entries were good, the sale very spirited, and we sold all the sheep and nearly all the oattle under the hammer. We had very good entries indeed at Sanson. Among the sheep quite 2,500 being hoggets of a good class. The bidding, however, for them was not so spirited as it was at Feilding, but the bidding became more spirited when the cattle were under the hammer, and we cleared at and after the sale a large amount of stock. At Waituna yes- #- tarday we had better entries than advertised and a brisk sale, selling everything excepting 3 cows and 22 hoggets culled out of a line. We quote: — Cattle. Feilding—Fat bullocks, £7 5s ; fat cows, £6 Is; 8-year steers, £4 5s ; store cows, £8 7s to £8 12s ; weaners and yearlings, 89s to £2 18s 6d ; milkers, £4 12a 6d to £7. Sanson —Fat bullocks, £6 7s 6d ; 8-year steers, £4 18s 6d ; 2 to Uyear steers, £3 0s 6d to £8 10s"; . yearlings, £2 8s; 2|^year heifers, £3 •5s to £3 13s ; weaners, 82s to 375.
