Shearing Troubles.
About 100 Unionists in the Wilcannia district, New South Wales, burned the drafting yards on one station and destroyed three miles of rabbit-fencing. Then they visited another station, smashed some pumping machinery to fragments, and tired the engine-house. The police extinguished the fire, arrested 24 men, and seized a quantity, of firearms and ammunition. .-:...- ■ A shearing outrage is reported from the Bourke district. It is alleged that a party of men destroyed the fodder sheds by firing them, and also destroyed the artesian well piping. A posse of police has been despatched in pursuit of the perpetrators.
