WHEREAS Seven Electors of the Borough of Foxton have made and signed before a Justice of the Peace a declaration and petition in the form of the Sixth Schedule of the " Regulation of Local Elections Act," prating that an KnqUiry may, be made into an Election hold&i) at Foitdn dfa 1 tile 7th, day of September, 1894, at which Robert Austin, George Hughes and Thomas Westwood were declared elected respectively to the office of Councillor of the said Borough, and that the said Election may be declared Void, on the ground that the name of one, Henry BbaCcock, a Candidate, was not entered on the Polling Papers. And whereas the said declaration and petition has been filed in the Magistrate's Court at Foxton, this is to give notice that I shall hold an ENQUIRY into the matter alleged in the said petition at the Magistrate's Court, Foxton, on FRIDAY, the 2lst day of September instant, at the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon.
