By the treaty with Corea, Japan promises to provide supplies of food for the Corean troops* Li Etiitig Chatig appears unable to push on either naval or military preparations with the necessary speed. China has decided on a winter campaign, and has organised a second corps of 10,000 Hainanese. Both sides keep^ap a continuous fire across the-Imjin River.
