The Times considers that the New Zealand Government's protest inspecting Neckar Island was a blunder which could have been obviated by previous enquiry, as Hawaii's right to the island has already been admitted. It adds that presumably the protest will be withdrawn, as it, is likely to impede the present negotiations of the Imperial Govern - in the matter. „ A fire is raging in B> j nuond*ey, and three warehouses are gutted.
